Duncan Olde
Managing Partner
Duncan has over 25 years of experience developing infrastructure in North America, Australia and New Zealand, covering the myriad of different ways to deliver projects. Duncan has undertaken numerous project governance and leadership roles for multi-discipline teams as well as having detailed commercial and financial expertise. As the elder statesman in the Mafic team, Duncan has been slowly adapting to casual dress codes, paperless offices and flexible working environments but you will be pleased to know that the Mafic vinyl collection is largely from his era.
Louise Marsden

With over 20 years of experience in infrastructure, Louise has been involved with a wide range of projects in NZ and Europe. Her experience has been in various capacities: as a debt provider, equity owner, asset manager and in governance. As a proud Wellingtonian Louise enjoys everything her adoptive city offers, especially the Arts, and beach and bush-walks with her dogs.
Scott Priestley

Scotty has over ten years of experience providing financial and commercial advice in the New Zealand infrastructure sector. Scotty tends to focus on financial structuring and capital raising activities for infrastructure projects and corporates. Growing up, Scotty wanted to be an architect, studied as an engineer, and now nods vigorously during technical presentations.
Tim Walker
Partner
Tim is an infrastructure specialist with over 15 years of major project experience across Australasia, Europe and MENA, where he has acted in finance, commercial and legal roles. Tim has a proven ability to successfully structure and negotiate commercial and financing arrangements for delivering infrastructure projects. A proud mainlander, Tim has a love of any water-based sport and exploring the New Zealand backcountry. He is also the most accident-prone member of the team.
Vincent Bennett

Vincent has over 10 years of experience providing financial and commercial advice across New Zealand and Europe. His experience includes M&A, principal investing and project financing, with a particular focus on renewable energy, infrastructure and the telecommunication sectors. While not working, Vinnie likes collecting (and in turn, enjoying) wine and being outdoors, whether it’s swimming, hiking or working in the garden.

Alex has over 10 years of experience providing financial and commercial advice in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, working across a range of industries including in renewable energy, infrastructure, telecommunications and real estate. When not working on projects AK can likely be found either eating burgers or doing yoga.
Laura Harris

Laura has over 15 years’ experience providing finance to the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors in New Zealand and Australia. She has a proven ability to structure and finance complex transactions with a focus on practical solutions. Laura has typical Aucklander hobbies including spending time on the Waitemata Harbour, pilates and drinking champagne.
Chloe Archer
Director
Chloe has over 10 years of experience in corporate and investment banking roles in New Zealand and Europe. Her experience relates to structured asset finance, project finance and debt arranging across the transport, infrastructure and energy sectors. In her spare time, Chloe is most likely planning her next trip away either traversing mountains or relaxing by the beach. Chloe’s other special skills include quoting The Office (US version).
Campbell Will
Director
Campbell has over 10 years experience providing financial, commercial, and economic advice to infrastructure sector clients. Campbell’s areas of expertise include economic regulation, valuations, investment options analysis and complex financial modelling. Away from the office, Campbell is usually playing football or in the shed building things.
Jarred Foster
Contractor
Jarred has over 7 years of experience in the banking, energy and public transport industries in New Zealand, Africa, USA, and UK. He is experienced in project development and financing, financial modelling, investment analysis and risk management. In his spare time, Jarred can be found enjoying the Wellington food scene, listening to true crime podcasts or threatening to run a marathon.
William Lakke-Davies
Manager
William has experience working in commercial advisory roles in Australia and New Zealand, focusing on early-stage circular economy business case development and financial modelling. Before entering the advisory world William worked in academic research in political philosophy and the historical foundations of modern-day power structures. William also enjoys hurtling down a mountainside on a pair of skis / mountain bike or wandering around a quirky bookstore in search of another tome to add to his ever-expanding collection.
Chloe Bell
Office Manager
Chloe has over 12 years experience in office management and executive assistant roles here in New Zealand and in the UK. She is an expert problem solver and your go to for all things admin and organisation. When not keeping the Mafic team in check you will usually find Chloe at the latest restaurant with a rosé in hand contemplating how she should really get some hobbies.
Petra Lapish
Manager
Petra has four years’ experience delivering commercial and financial advice in renewable energy and M&A transactions, including project management and facility structuring. Prior to joining Mafic, Petra worked for one of the big four national banks and has experience across a variety of sectors, including construction, transportation, and private equity. Outside of work, you can usually find Petra at the gym or beach, or out camping and hiking on a road trip.
Lachlan Cook

Lachlan has over 2.5 years of experience delivering commercial and financial advice within the New Zealand infrastructure sector. His background spans economic and financial modelling, investment options analysis, and transaction support. Outside of work, Lachlan can be found meandering down ski slopes, going for leisurely walks, or showcasing his BBQ skills amongst his friends.
Simon Sinclair

Simon has spent the last two years advising on financial matters across various sectors within New Zealand. Simon combines his background in economics and finance with a focus on applying analytical and innovative methods to navigate complex financial problems. Outside of work, you will most likely find Simon at the gym, attempting to secure a spot on the quiz night podium, or stationed on the couch, footy on, delivering his "expert" sideline analysis that absolutely no one asked for.
Zoe Dawson

With a foundation in corporate finance advisory, Zoe has supported clients across New Zealand with valuation services for reporting and transaction scopes. Her experience across various projects has given her valuable insights and a strong grasp of key industries in the NZ market. Outside of work, Zoe spends her time embracing the outdoors, either horse riding with friends or enjoying the sunshine in the Coromandel.
